01About These Terms

These terms govern your use of VyshyvankaDaily. By opening the site, you accept them. If you disagree with any part of them, please don't use the site.

The site is run by a private individual. Contact us through the contact page.

02What the Site Does

The site shows a generated vyshyvanka pattern for every calendar day, with a description of the relevant region's symbolism and a list of sources. Registration is only needed to save patterns to your own collection.

The service is free. We don't guarantee uninterrupted operation and may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons.

03Nature of the Content

Symbolism descriptions are based on research into publicly available sources. Every claim is marked as either documented or passed down through oral tradition.

We don't guarantee that every description is scientifically flawless. The patterns on the site are an interpretation of tradition, not an exact reproduction of a specific historical artifact. They aren't intended for use as an authentic embroidery scheme or as a source in academic work.

04Your Account

By creating an account, you confirm that the email address you provided belongs to you, and you agree not to share access to your account with others. You are responsible for actions taken under your account.

Your collection of saved patterns is private and accessible only to you. We may suspend or delete an account used for the actions described in section 6.

05Age of Users

The site contains no age-restricted content and anyone can browse it. Accounts can be created from age 16. If a younger person creates an account, this must happen with the consent of a parent or guardian, who bears responsibility for it.

06Rules of Use

By using the site, you agree not to:

• automatically scrape the site's content, including bulk-downloading pages or patterns;
• create a load that interferes with the site for other visitors;
• attempt to access other people's accounts, internal sections, or the admin panel;
• circumvent technical restrictions, including rate limits and form protections;
• present the site's content as if we've confirmed claims we haven't made.

07Content You Submit

By submitting a proposed article, you confirm that you hold the rights to that material and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's copyright. You grant us a non-exclusive right to publish it on the site, store it, and translate it, should it pass review.

We're under no obligation to publish what you submit and may decline without explanation. No payment for publication is provided unless separately agreed in writing.

08Rights to Site Content

Texts, symbolism descriptions, design, and generated patterns belong to VyshyvankaDaily unless stated otherwise. Bibliographic source data belongs to its authors and is presented as citation.

You may browse the site, save pages for personal use, and share links. Republishing texts or patterns, including for commercial purposes, requires written permission.

09External Links

The site contains links to external resources, including research sources. We don't control their content and aren't responsible for it.

10Limitation of Liability

The site is provided 'as is', without warranties of any kind, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages, lost profit, or data loss arising from your use of the site or inability to use it, including due to temporary unavailability, inaccuracies in a description, or the actions of third parties.

11Termination of Access

We may restrict or terminate your access to the site if you violate these terms. You may stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account through the contact page.

12Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. Disputes are resolved through negotiation, and if agreement can't be reached, in court in accordance with the law of Ukraine.

We may update these terms. The current version is always available on this page, with the last-updated date at the bottom. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the new version.
